Cecilia Heffer at Damien Minton Gallery has a beautiful series of traditional lace and new technology textile works but unfortunately I didn't bring along my camera as what is on their website show only a small sample... Rebecca Lavis also showing this week and who lives and works in Tasmania is one of my favs. Unfortunately also the pics on their site aren't the best and don't truely reflect the strength and colour of her work (ps not all of her works are sad).
