Alas the end of the show in Melbourne. It's a strange business making and showing art and that's all I am saying! A detail of this beautiful bright stick sculpture is by Cristy Gilbert with my bird prints in the background again adrift in an installation poise.
...me with my cocker teeshirt in not the whole picture. I was exploring the idea of transformation particularly in Australian colonial history with the recording of fauna & flora through the means of printmaking. Interesting how my usual concerns with loss and fragility still come through.
Here is a telephone book paper mache wattle bird by Dominique Dunstan and sorry only a snippet of these amazing bell jars of feather tree hybrids by Aneta Bozic.. and my whole open book layout behind.
